Paris with Abigail Watson

Paris with Abigail Watson

Summer is here and adventure is calling. When it comes to travel, one of our favourite people to follow is Abigail Watson. From slow living by the sea, city exploring and more, Abigail’s posts and photography inspire us to pack our bags and get exploring. This month we caught up with Abigail to hear her top places to visit in Paris (with a handcrafted belt bag for company!)

We’ve also rounded up your most loved travel essentials in this Travel Edit. Waterproof pouches, belt bags, weekenders and backpacks, this will have you covered for your next adventure.

Here are Abigail’s Paris recommendations:

The Louvre with a coffee from Terres De Café

Grabbing a coffee from Terres De Café and strolling around the courtyard grounds at the Louvre watching tourists play and locals bask in the sunshine with an aged novel.

The charming Café de Flores

A must visit is the charming Café de Flores where people come for the picture and to experience the old coffeehouse. The waiters in bow ties and a line of eager onlookers excited to have their turn sitting in the cafe soaking up the warm ambience. And afterwards a walk around the Saint Germain des Prés admiring the artistic talent and diversity.

The Jardin de Luxembourg with a pastry from Copain Paris

Sitting on the iconic chairs in the Jardin de Luxembourg with your best friend chatting, bathing in the sunshine in silence watching the children play and sipping on a glass of something cool with a pastry from Copain Paris to nibble.

Sitting with a good book by the Seine

Sitting on the riverbank of the Seine with a good book and a morning pastry. My choice is always a delicious strawberry tart!

And of course some Eiffel Tower gazing

And of course devouring a croque monsieur in the park gazing at the Eiffel Tower glistening in the sunlight.
