Connection and Creativity in 2024

Connection and Creativity in 2024

As we begin a new year we’ve found ourselves drawn to two words; connection and creativity.

Creativity has always been at our core. Since our very beginning, we’ve been guided by the art of hand making. We choose not to automate and mass produce, but rather to slow down and take our time to create product that deserves to exist in our world. Products that are meaningful to make, preserving age old methods of hand making and designed with forever in mind.

In 2024, we’ve chosen to go back to our roots and work with hand woven khadi cotton - cloth that has been handspun and hand woven and that carries a powerful story of freedom and independence. Our very first collections were created with this precious fabric and we are thrilled to be able to share this with you once again this year.

We’re also looking forward to sharing with you new prints. We never grow tired of the magic of seeing prints we’ve created, sent to our master block maker and then returned back to us hand carved and ready to be slowly transferred to fabric block by block in the hands of our makers.

Over these last few months, we’ve also been reflecting on the beauty of creativity in community. This is something our team experiences each day from our studio in the Himalayas as we gather together around the art forms of block printing, stitching and leather work. Some highlights of the past year were popping up in various locations - from London with TOAST, to our Festive Market with Darcy Apparel, to yoga retreats in Dehradun.

This year we’re dreaming of fostering deeper connections, of creativity in community and of meaningful products that will be treasured forever.

We envision a world where community is connected to the art of hand making - the practice of choosing slow and spending our time to create products that deserve to exist in our world.

Thank you for bringing back the prints! I have probably 5 bags with different designs. So excited to see the new ones!
